Our Doctors
Dr. Zach Dielmann
Dr. Zach Dielmann originally hails from Austin but has strong roots in San Antonio that he just couldn’t escape! With a family history of San Antonio dating back to the 1860s, Dr. Dielmann found himself at Trinity University for his undergraduate degree.
Eventually, he followed in the family’s footsteps and graduated from Texas A&M with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Since graduation, he has found a passion for orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, as well as cardiology and neurology. Initially, he worked at a small animal practice in the Alamo Heights area, but he always enjoyed the more emergent cases that walked in the door.
After 4 years, he decided to take that medicine to the emergency field and try to help patients that had nowhere else to turn.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter, hiking, rock climbing, hunting, and generally anything outside!
Dr. Alan Mosley
Dr. Alan Mosley grew up in South Texas and after a fair bit of time abroad, is now back working with us at Hill Country Animal Emergency Hospital. He started life in Corpus Christi until he left to go to Texas A&M for the best 8 years of his life, graduating from veterinary school in 2003. Since graduation, he has practiced in multiple locations across the southern United States and even spent a few years across the pond practicing for a large emergency group at multiple locations in the United Kingdom. After marrying his beautiful limey bride, he began the process of repatriation, moving back stateside in 2017 and bringing the family back to Texas in 2021. Although he got his start working in mixed animal practice, he soon realized that he was more fulfilled helping clients and pets at night with their emergencies than keeping patients healthy during the day. Over 15 years ago, Dr. Mosley readjusted his career to be a small animal emergency practitioner only and had never looked back.
In his personal time, Dr. Mosley really enjoys snowboarding and walking the golf course, without being very good at either. Usually, he spends his free time working on his honeydew list or hanging out with his young daughter, trying to keep her and Baloo, the family’s Australian Shepherd, out of trouble.
Dr. Mallory Cade
Dr. Mallory Cade was born and raised on Army bases around the country, but found a home in South Texas. Beginning her veterinary adventure as a barn and kennel technician, she went on to complete her undergraduate work at Texas A&M Kingsville (Texas A&I). From there, she headed to College Station to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University-CVM, Class of 2014.
Officially a doctor, she returned to South Texas as a mixed-animal practitioner before finding her way to San Antonio. After several years at the helm of a booming small animal hospital on San Antonio’s NW side, she restarted her services as a full-time relief veterinarian, especially emergency medicine.
Outside veterinary medicine, Dr Cade enjoys playing softball, kayaking, hunting, and most of all, traveling as much as possible. You’ll likely find her on a cruise ship if not at the hospital.
Dr. Jenna Beyer
Raised on a ranch outside of Austin, Dr. Beyer grew up immersed in veterinary medicine as the daughter of a food animal veterinarian. Veterinary care runs deep in her family—both her siblings are also veterinarians. After relocating to the Hill Country in 2024, she joined our team to continue serving pets and their families with compassion and dedication.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Beyer enjoys sewing for herself and her children, gardening, and reading. She and her husband, married since 2011, are the proud parents of three young children and share their home with two beloved Standard Poodles.

Our Management
Kristian Frost
With nearly 20 years in the veterinary industry, Kristian brings experience, passion, and a big heart to her role as Practice Manager at Hill Country Animal Emergency. She knows the hospital’s success depends on the incredible team behind it, and she dedicates herself to creating a positive, supportive workplace where her staff can thrive.
Her love for veterinary medicine runs deep, so much so that her two kids have grown up in the industry and take pride in their mom’s work. When she’s not keeping the hospital running smoothly, you can find her enjoying life on the farm, tending to an impressive flock of chickens (and an unmentionable number of plants), playing with her dogs, or chatting with her cockatoo. If you’ve ever spotted her name in community social media groups, that’s no surprise she’s,always ready to lend a hand, share advice, or just brighten someone’s day.
Courtney Fletcher
Assistant Practice Manager
With over seven years in veterinary medicine, much of it in Emergency and Critical Care, Courtney knows how important the team behind the scenes is to providing excellent patient care. While she is passionate about client education and supporting families through difficult moments, her favorite part of her career has been caring for the staff who make each day possible. She believes that when the team feels supported, both patients and clients benefit. When she’s not at the hospital, she enjoys life with her husband and their pack of dogs, diving into her studies in Software Engineering, or getting lost in a good book.
