How to refer a case to HCAEH:

- During business hours, give us a call! We love doctor-to-doctor transfers and are happy to discuss the case and create a customized estimate for your client based on their specific needs.
- When we aren’t quite open yet, give us a call! Our voicemail box is frequently monitored during the day, and a manager will return your call to get any additional helpful details or provide a rough quote for your client prior to their arrival.
- Send us an email. You can forward records, radiographs, and other important case details to our email. A staff member will upload it to the patient’s chart as soon as possible, and check the patient into our “On The Way” board.
- Fill out the referral form on our website. It can be found by scrolling down on our home page, and documents can be uploaded there directly.
- Send records with the client. All paper copies of records will be scanned and uploaded into the patient’s chart.
- And don’t forget, we have a referring veterinarian portal available 24/7 so you can see your patient’s records as soon as they are available!

**If a referring veterinarian’s cell phone is provided to us, it will never be shared with a client without that vet’s verbal approval. We are open so that our referring veterinarians can rest and be able to care for their patients during their business hours; we value your free time!
